Why did I just write down my exact location? That’s kind of creepy, haha.
[I later learned that we were near the Cayman Islands]
Listening to my salsa music really has me excited. I imagine myself at some dance club with a long flowy skirt and a flower in my hair. I’m dancing with my new group of Chilean friends and we let the spirit of the music take us away. Thinking of this has made me really excited and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to travel to another country and experience life the way God intended for me. I am looking forward to new experiences, insight, and blessings. I pray that God continues to keep us in His protected arms. Angels watching over me…
And now it’s time for me to go to bed. I have a beautiful country to wake up to in almost 7 hours.

So we’re about an hour away from Santiago and I’m excited but nervous about navigating the airport, getting Chilean Pesos, and carrying my luggage. The process of getting to the Transvip office sounds pretty straightforward, but I don’t know. When we land I’m going to call my dad, text grandma, text bae, and if wifi is available, post to Facebook. Then after that, go to the ATM, get my luggage, & then figure out how to get to Aji. I hope my first taste of Chile will be great.
